VariaDot imaging technology
Canon’s patented VariaDot imaging technology is at the heart of every Arizona printer. It produces droplets in different sizes, giving you the flexibility to reproduce everything from razor-sharp images to areas of solid colour. The 3rd-generation VariaDot technology uses advanced drop size selection techniques, securing further improved uniformity.

We’re making constant progress on sustainability efforts across all Canon products, from machine design, to manufacturing, to consumables.
The Arizona LED portfolio uses 15% less energy than Arizona UV Halide models, and we’ve designed our vacuum pumps to use 70% less energy than similar printers in the market.
Arizona UV inks are formulated to be free of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) and Volatile Organic Components (VOCs) and are GREENGUARD Gold-certified for their environmental performance, meaning the prints are safe even for sensitive environments such as schools, hotels and hospitals.
