About the role
Our ideal candidate is looking for a role where they are eager to maximise revenue, margin and business opportunities to new and existing customers within the allocated vertical markets, leveraging the full Canon Production Printing Australia solutions.
Due to recent market growth, we are looking for a new Business Development Manager to join Canon Production Printing Australia’s close knit national sales team to assist with meeting the demands of our strategic growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue and gross profit targets in allocated territories
- Selling Canon Production Printing Australia wide format solutions, focused predominantly on the LFG market
- Design and execute business development plans with customers to drive sales
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders to drive results
- Build and manage a sales pipeline
- Provide timely, accurate, qualified preparation and submission of activity reports, account plans, forecasts and account management reports
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Canon Production Printing Australia products, with a particular focus on the Canon Production Printing Australia LFG range of systems, to enable effective customer interactions and sales opportunity development
- Manage your time accordingly between Account Management (customer retention) and New Business Development
- Work with consumer data to develop relevant insights

- Recommend and actively participate in marketing activity that will improve penetration of nominated accounts such as events, industry briefings etc.
- Be accountable for providing succinct and timely input into the forecasting, competitor intelligence, supporting the budgeting process and business opportunity and risks analysis
- Actively engage in opportunities for the business growth
Financial / Commercial

- Continuously monitor and adjust processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiencies
